I love to offer pieces you just can't find elsewhere and this is such an item. Make an offer and own this NOW! 19 long bronze/brass light used to illuminate oil paintings. Appears to have been silver plated at one time.
Antique Bryant sockets inside indicate this is probably from the first decade of the 20th Century. Base and arms are probably bronze while the shade used to direct light most likely brass. If I were to guess I'd think this was made by either E F Caldwell or Sterling Bronze Co. Doubtless used to light some large Impressionist canvas once upon a time. Shade adjusts to cast light where desired. You simply can not find this quality of light any longer... I'm listing dozens of new (old) pieces.
