This is a fantastic eye catching portrait of a countryside horse. Impressionistic in style with loose brush strokes, the color and contrast is very rich. The artist is Betty Mayo and it is dated on the back May 1, 1979, signed Mayo in lower right corner. The oil painting on canvas has been framed in a rustic style dimensional frame which compliments the work.
