After Annibale Carracci, Italian'Madonna of the Book' 17th Century Large Fine Antique Oil Painting. A fine oil on lined canvas evocation of Annibale Carracci's 1580's original work.

Probably late 17th century Italian school , the present work in good condition and restored sometime during the last 40 years. The image dimensions are approximately: 25'' x 19'' (64cm x 48cm).

No visible signature, with' Annibale Carracci' inscribed verso, lower central. Housed in a painted gilt composition frame, ready to hang. In my own collection and formerly with a family collection in Surrey, England.
