Antique Vintage Gesso Wood Frame Original Oil Painting Still Life Signed

  

I did not remove this from the frame. Not sure if there is any signature. I don't recognize the signature.

At first, I assumed this was watercolor but there is raised paint in some areas, so think it is possible oil. The paper that it is on is warped a bit. It has no glass so has had exposure. There is some chipping of paint on the front throughout. The frame has surface cracking throughout and some areas where gesso has broken off and you can see the wood underneath. There is paint chipping on painted wood surrounding picture. The cardboard piece that holds picture has some staining/tearing.

I took pictures of the biggest flaws to expect but there is wear on frame throughout. This will need some restoration/repairs. The interior frame size is about 19 x 23. Pictures should give good idea of overall condition. It weighs 7 lb, 12 oz.

Often, you only see the first one selected and depending on where you live, it may not be the cheapest one. Please look at costs for both of them (I hear this can sometimes be hard to find). You can ask us for a quote.
