Antique Oil Painting 1873 Signed Cold Harbor Maine Fishing Sail Boats Large. This consideration is for an original oil painting by J. Howard (first name is illegible).

The stretcher was produced by EH & AC Friedrichs Co. Scratched into the wood on the back of the stretcher: Maine, Cold Port, 1873, Harbor. Condition: In fine all-over condition, with the exception of an inch long threadbare spot at the top left corner, as noted in split photo showing the back and front of the canvas.

The frame; on the top back (where it would butt up against the wall) has roughness; other than being very old, is in stable condition. 31-1/4 inches high 26-1/4 inches wide.
