For your consideration is this antique original plein air style California coast oil painting on Masonite panel by well known artist Andreas Roth. The painted image measures 21 3/4 x 28 5/8 and is signed and dated 1945 by the artist, lower left.

Roth was born and trained in Germany and came to America and established himself as a successful working artist painting the California coast and Canadian mountains. This is a large, nicely developed work by him, done late in his working life.

The painting is solid with no issues. The frame is very nice with some wear and finish loss, mostly across the top edge, as though it was transported or stored improperly at one time.
