This is an antique oil painting on canvas from the Art Nouveau period, specifically from 1896. The painting depicts a portrait of a lady and is signed by either Goodman or Goudman? It is a one-of-a-kind piece and is considered an original production. The painting is large, measuring 18 inches in length and 20 inches in height, and is unframed. It was produced using oil painting techniques and is handmade. The style is portraiture and realism, and the theme is a portrait of a woman. Previous owner acquired it as an antique on 10/22/67.

There is an etched date on the back from then. Oil painting is in great condition for it's age. There is some cosmetic loss to the front and what looks to be a mend on the back at some point in it's life. There is a small loss to the canvas on the front along the bottom.
